lol, I was thinking the exact same thing before I even read your response.

Plus, despite this being exactly four months late, I'm feeling charitable. Boss Medley FTW

Okay, seriously. I know many of you might disagree, but I think the next project Stemage should do is CastleVania.

I mean, I know the music in the series has been covered to death, but I'm specifically talking about the more obscure tracks in the first one. I have yet to find decent remixes of "Walking on the Edge" or "Voyager" which probably deserves an orchestral arrangement.

Here's another idea, even though the Metroid series hasn't been fully covered enough yet to constitute finding another project. But I've given it some thought:

Metal Gear Metal :D

I mean, even the name has a kick to it - like Hunter X Hunter. As for the tracks, most are fit for metal, like the boss, enemy battle, & ending climax themes.

I know it's still a long way - just wanted to put that out. :)

I'm just wondering if Stem is still using the Delta Blues for the newer tracks. Sounds different, but still quality. I'm thinking of purchasing one myself as it sounds juuuust metal enough for my tastes (based on what Stem has managed to produce) and it seems versatile and reliable.

Speaking of becoming a sponsor...I've been wondering, how does one go about doing that? Probably somewhere in this thread, but I don't see it in the FAQ...

Okay, probably old hat, but I did the some searching before posting this and didn't find anything.

How did you make the Space Pirates bass sound? It's right at the beginning: a sort of wah-wah-modulated noise signal that lags behind the bass notes. What is causing that and how?

I modulated the signal with wah wah noise lag.

It's a combination of bass synth, auto wah, flange, and ocatver. It's very complicated. Basically, I just pushed a bunch of buttons on my Zoom 506, and stopped when it sounded similar to the sound from the game. I wish I could be more specific, but I tried to recreate it for the live show, and I don't think I did very well.

Thanks! I think there may have been delay also in there. That Zoom pedal isn't good for much more than totally over the top effects, so when I use it, I go all out.

It does serve pretty well as an inline chromatic tuner.
