Hey guys! This is SexyJosh from Half-Life Radio. Just to let you know, there is also an IRC chat server too, so you can send us, the DJ's, questions to ask Stemage on air! We are in the #RADIO channel on irc.GamesNET.net.

If you don't have an IRC chat program, no problem! We have a java based program on our site. You can access it by clicking the Chat Now! link on the main page of our site, or by just clicking this link here: http://www.halfliferadio.com/chat/

To change your name, type /nick (put your username here without parentheses)

See ya guys on Wednesday!

I felt I should mention that iTunes also supports the .pls format for streaming media. Just in case you perhaps have it and don't feel like getting WinAMP.

Not that I have anything against WinAMP, but NSF and OGG's all I use it for anymore.

Suckers.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to that interview. I'll be trying not to forget about it, but if I do, rest assured that I'll pretend to have heard it with my clever lines such as "hey, wasn't it cool when Grant was talking about Metroid Metal?" In this way, you will think I heard the interview, even if I had, in fact, not heard it.

Suckers. Again.

I'll probably be out at 7:30 CST. Do you know if the show will continually stream so I can pick it up a few hours later?

They rebroadcast all the time. The interview will be about an hour (possibly longer) from what they said, but I'm not sure how they rebroadcast. I'll be sure to ask.

I'm enjoying the show but that kid with the high pitched voice was getting on my nerves.

Ha! Thanks for stopping by guys. It was fun to be on... hope it was OK to listen to. ;)

Yeah, they played the new track... and Kraid, The Theme, & Brinstar. Very cool guys, and a neat experience using Ventrilo to connect with my PC mic. I had to use the third mouse button like a walkee talkee.

How did it sound guys? Thanks for listening!! I'll try to get a copy of it.

It sounded pretty good for the most part. I'm actually listening to it again right now because I missed some of the first minutes... class before pleasure

That was so awsome! Hearing the new Tourian/Mother Brain mix was really unexpected! Oh, and hey, i was the one who asked the question about the Zero mission songs! I know i made a thread here, but i wanted to hear a candid responce. And i look forward to the item collect, escape, and ending tunes when you make them. :)

I heard the whole show. Nice interview! I'm glad to see you got a good number of your songs played on air as well. ;)

Glad you guys liked the show! Thanks for tuning in! If you want to catch the replay, its playing right now (12:30 PM EST) and will be playing tomarrow around 2:00 PM EST, hopefully. The varying times of the replays kinda mess with that. But listen in if you missed it, it should be on around 2 tomarrow.

As for the highpitched voice kid, trust me, if I had a choice, he would never come on. My ears bleed nightly from him.

I loved being on that show! Granted I only talked for about 3 minutes there, but the rest of the time I was enjoying the music! Hell, I'm listening to it even now! I'm glad Stemage could be on the air. It was great having you! I look forward to hearing more music from you!

BTW, you mentioned some people thought Zelda would be cool to move on to. I never got to say this on-air, but I once heard a version of the main theme done with two electric guitars (not in the style you do, but still...). I'd love to hear an "expanded" version if you know what I mean ;) lol

Great interview, Stemage. I didn't know you used a drum machine on those tracks. I can hear it now that you pointed it out, but it doesn't detract from the music.

And the new track is sweet. I wasn't sure at first what I was listening to, then the Tourian theme came in on the highs and I said, "he's done it again."

I wish I were going to PAX so I could hear you do Metroid Metal LIVE... *drool*

There's so much talk about Super Metroid music being done....I think that's cool and all but I've mentioned in another thread that after the original nes, it all went to midi and there were proper instruments for things and that kind of stuff may be hard to recreate with Grant's setup. I personally wouldn't think he was a turncoat if he did other games...but I think I'm just saying that cause I'd really like to hear some Kid Icarus music done :) After all this *is* metroidmetal.com....still I think the NES synth music is easier to 'stamp' your own sound onto.

Ya know, Grant. It would be bad ass if you could record your live show and maybe include live tracks of MM for the sponsors on the finished album

I believe it to be regarding the Badger song and how it was Cannibal Corpse in the early '90s, or something like that.
