Post Order of Songs?
Hello there! I have for a long time been hearing about metroid metal, and finally decided to check it out. I downloaded all 27 songs on the site, dumped them into my itunes, then put them on my ipod. But now, I seem to have a problem.. The songs are in a completely random order! Does anyone know the order that I'm supposed to listen to them?

No order at all, except for the Item Room and Item Collection that are "2 songs in one"

You can listen them in whatever order you like. I like to jump from the frozen peaks of Phendrana to the plains of Crateria, from the scaring depths of Kraid's lair to the rainy Tallon Overworld.

You choose. Music is not just a matter of order, it's a matter of feeling.

Ah, ok! I had thought I might need to listen to them as they occur in the game. Thank you!

I agree with ^that guy^

Organize by game in chronological order
Then arrange the songs by when you hear them in the game.

Another fun way to do it is organizing by when the song was released by date.
This way you hear how far Metroid Metal has come from the first track to the last.

the nes songs are arranged so that they flow into each other (it's not just item room/collect unless you're half deaf maybe):
theme
intro
brinstar
item room
item collect
norfair
kraid
ridley
tourian brain
escape
ending

everything else is whatever;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

hope that answers your question, guy who posted this 18 months ago, and makes you feel bad, metalink, for being wrong, with this as with everything. namaste.

Wait, so you mean that a simple "fade-out" effect (or even a full sudden stop) makes the songs actually flowing in THAT particular order ? I must not know how songs really flow into each other, then...

Right at the beginning, you clearly hear remnants of the previous song before the actual song starts smoothly. I call this an actual "fade-in" effect, which clearly leads the way to the next song.

Ok, I had forgotten the "Title-Brinstar" stuff but I was in no way wrong about what I said.

That said, it's been 19 months, so I shouldn't be giving a f**k anymore.
