Post What would you think of MM being on the Rockband Network?
As an avid Rockband fan, I'm constantly downloading new songs. One of my favorite aspects is the Rockband Network which allows artists to upload their own songs, a great tool for up and coming artists and bands without labels to get their content into the game. A thought just occurred to me, what if Metroid Metal was in Rockband? It can happen with the RB Network. I think that would be awesome to play Kraid's theme on expert pro drums myself! What are your thoughts?

It would be a lot less effort to just paint a 50' sign reading "SUE US"

Now, if we're talking originals, count me in.

Well that's the awesome thing about RBN. The content is uploaded directly by the artists themselves, wheres the regular timed DLC is in a contract given to Harmonix and they get the masters, license the songs, and chart them themselves. With RBN, the artists themselves can decide if they want their songs in the game and chart the songs themselves, and then Harmonix chooses when to release them in the network pipeline. RBN has been out for just over a year now, but the thought just occurred to me yesterday. I would be stoked to see some MM in RB, and I'm interested in hearing what the community has to say about it.

Sure, I could do these covers on my real drum set, but that becomes a problem at 11:00 at night.

A) Maybe he should have clarified and said "Nintendo, sue us!

B) Covers aren't allowed on RBN. Period. For the exact reason chunk pointed out. It's a liability for everyone.

It would be pretty cool though, but just put Strati and some Yes, Mayhem on there. Maybe
