ALL THE 37's!

Plenty of fun once they got more servers up. In Act II now.

Was close to finishing act I before i caught some Z's. So far the crafted items i've been pumping out are far better than the drops for me.

I want to hear your reaction to the Act I ending cutscene, in spoiler tag of course. I seriously teared up, like a baby man

Yeah that cutscene had some emotional oomph to it. Act2 better not have another punk ass bitch like Duriel, the bane of casters.

Please God, let there be this. Lag spikes during large packs are really starting to piss me off, and no Oz servers double my fury.

Well, they never programmed it to work offline. The best we can hope for is a spoof server hack to come out.

Man, I hope so. The online requirement, and the resulting lag in battles, is my only complaint so far.

Yeah, so I started playing Diablo 3. Somewhere, 4 hours of my life disappeared last night, compressed into what seemed like a couple of super fun minutes.

I've gotten to install this on three different computers. Finally getting to install it on my own.

Demon Hunter was totally the way to go btw. Love it.

Ugh, thank you Blizzard for making the first game where I have to deal with crippling lag in single player. I can't even play the game right now, my internet sucks so bad.

Diablo deaded on normal. Nightmare here I come!

You can get some bulls**t prices out of the AH. Don't be afraid to jack up the prices of your sales. ;)

Post Re: Diablo 3
OK, so the game feels short compared to Diablo II. There are more quests and areas to explore, but in total I think that it would take less time to complete DIII vs DII. I'm not even including LoD in that estimate. This is evidenced by the achievement for speed-running each act in an hour or less. Sure, there are four difficulty levels rather than three... but does that make up for the perceived shortness?

Still a very fun game, and I look forward to playing each of the classes. I am a bit disappointed that I can't easily go back to previous areas and help people along without potentially losing my progress. For a game we have to be online to play thanks to co-op and the AH, one would think that they would make that a bit easier. Maybe I am just mistaken and it erases "checkpoints" rather than quest progress, but getting a warning message when I want to go back and do something is a big turn-off.

Another gripe is the disappearing Achievements, which I know Duck experienced on the first day. Apparently I was able to beat the game but never killed The Butcher, Maghda, and others. This is something that should have been a non-issue especially with the constant connection requirement. Maybe they will restore them once they sort out some other backend issues, but they really handled this launch like an amateur company.

You loose progress in that quest, but you can still go back to the quest you were on. I find it odd that Blizzard opted to include this but once you get to Inferno it makes sense. In fact, once you get to inferno the decisions made with this game all make sense. Well everything save for the required online, I'm not even calling it DRM because it doesn't do that. Also, if you've looked through the AH it's quite clear that WoW players are using it. They have no idea how to price the "Diablo way". Makes leveling the Black Smith quite easy.

One thing I know is that this game is going to be getting a lot of tweaking. If you are playing a Wizard your diamond skin armor is being nerfed, Demon Hunters just got a SS nerf too. Also, in a little bit we can plan on seeing PvP drop, and you know with the first expansion they are bringing back the third artisan. formally known as the Enchanter.

Also Monk and Demon hunter are my two favorite classes. I canne' say it enough times. I really love playing a Demon Hunter.

So, after getting the blacksmith pattern for the Staff of Herding (Whimsyshire entry item) I decided to farm for the mats necessary to craft it. Got the first two already, three more to go. Once I gather it all up I will wait for a group of us who want to explore the magical pony land together.

Edit: Got the Liquid Rainbow on my first attempt! AWWW YEAH.

Edit 2: DONE! I'll wait until everyone gets together to craft this thing, then it is off to slaughter colorful happy things for a change.

Damn they need to do something about joining other games and then breaking your game in the process (unless I'm missing something?). I joined up with some people with my level 10 Wizard, but they were too high leveled so it wasn't going right. But then I couldn't figure out where I left off... but I had Act II unlocked so I jumped into that, but the exp I was getting just wasn't right. But then I went back into the farthest part of Act I that I could get back into, and it was also just way too easy and felt like I shouldn't be at that point.

UGH!
