DONE! I'll wait until everyone gets together to craft this thing, then it is off to slaughter colorful happy things for a change.

You can use it more then once. Me and a friend were running it the other night and we wan it a total of three times. Loot sucks, but the gold is good. You can tell Blizzard wanted you to be level 60 in there so you can get your Nephilem buff and get way better loot.

For those of you who are like, "What?" Here is a video.

The sucky bit is you have to craft it for each difficulty. I tried to use my normal staff on nightmare (after starting hell), and it don't do jack. :(

...and they better not nerf my diamond skin. Even with it, hell elites rape my pink ass.

Post Re: Diablo 3
Yeaaah, I've almost got the mats for nightmare, but I cant get the plans to drop in normal.

Also, I was mistaken there was an exploit with a different skill. Here are the official changes to the Wizard.

Quote:
Wizard

Active Skills

Arcane Torrent
Skill Rune - Cascade
Fixed an issue that was causing Arcane Torrent to fire 3 new missiles per kill instead of only 1 new missile per kill
Number of simultaneously missiles generated from this rune will now cap at 10 missiles

Energy Armor
Skill Rune - Force Armor
Amount of damage absorbed from a single attack will now cap at 100% of a player’s maximum Life

People were combining energy armor with diamond armor and becoming 100% immortal.

They have also changed the Monk class.

Here is a link to rest of the changes int he hotfix.

Finally got to Act III in normal. I feel like the slowest player in the world. By the time I get to hardcore everyone's going to be on Inferno. That fight with Belial was pretty badass though.

Lots of updates coming. I'm really glad that Blizzard is patching D3 so readily. After a few bad experiences with WoW I was feeling a bit apprehensive that they would just slap the "working as intended" sticker on everything.

I want to know how there's a level 60 on my friends list, he only has like 44 hours. I'm at about 30 on Act II on Nightmare with a level 40. What is his secret!

Got passed the Butcher in Hell.

I think my friend put it best. Hell seems alright, and then you meet a pack of rares, or an elite. Suddenly you are fighting Diablo from nightmare. They don't kid around at this point, it becomes a game of kite or die for me. My favorite monster type so far? Invulnerable minions. I mean, come on blizzard, now I have to adjust my strategy to avoid accidentally attacking some monsters to kill the head.

The best combination of this so far was.

Elite:
Hoard, Lightning, Arcane Enchanted, Invulnerable Minions.
Minions:
Lightning, Invulnerable.

Fifteen or so Skeletons that decided to swarm around boss Skele, if I accidentally shot them they would spew out electric death. I had to kite them into a different room with the power of Caltrops, by the time I did that they had gotten the enrage timer. It was much lulz all around the me getting killed board.

So you're playing DH? Finally started playing public games myself on Nightmare (when I can't co-op with friends), makes it much easier to level and get good stuff... solo'ing was taking forever.

I dislike anything with mortar. By the time you realise they're there you've been spammed to death by fiery balls of doom.

That coupled with jailer and desecrate and you can pretty much just start handing over your cash to the nearest repair vendor.

Yeah, I played a traps assassin in D2 so this felt like a good match for that. Amazassin is my new nickname for my class.

Also, mortar is the absolute worst for us ranged classes.

Every class has some kind of CC breaker, it is just never listed in the tooltips. As a barb I have Leap, Furious Charge, and Wrath of the Berzerker which all counter CC in some way. Never once is it mentioned.

Wow A2 is just a total slog on NM... now that I'm in A3 I'm just tearing it up, way better exp and drops, everything. It's fun again!

I've heard others say the same about Izual though vs Diablo, haha. Guess I'll find out soon enough...

I finally cleared Act I last night. I'm loving this game. Getting some extra gold from auctioning Rare items I'll never use is pretty great, too.

Why didn't you share your RealID?

Most of us are in NM still, but I think Gemini has an INF char.

I just got through Diablo in heaven. Was grinding a lot of gold and gear for Izual. Then he turned out to be a joke. On to Inferno!

Also RMAH hit today. Decided to give it a look. First thing on the list? $200 ring. What the f**k is wrong with people?

Bummer Kuja, i don't think we can see you on a EU server. You'll just have to migrate over to where all the cool kids are. :D

The diffuculty spike from act1 to act2 in inferno is insane. Start stacking resist and vit gear if you haven't already. :S

I think it is just a matter of choosing to play on the "Americas" server, not sure if characters transfer though.

Characters don't, and neither does your contact list. I logged into the Asia servers during some downtime one day. I got zip. :(

FINALLY cleared Normal today. Damn I love this game. I have everything I need to make the Staff of Herding except for Wirt's Bell. I'm working on that, though. Just farming huge mobs in Act III (Fields of Slaughter) with a bunch of Gold modifiers. Kinda fun, actually.

Anyway, yeah. Diablo III: Totes awesome.

Oh, and I made $100 today.

Act II is pain defined in digital terms. I've gone back to poking things in Act I, and by poking I mean maiming. I have enough DPS to down the Butcher with little problem so the farming begins.
