I had to cancel my DD order because it sounded, today, like they oversold the collector's edition on the PS3. I snagged it from Best Buy at lunch.

I got Gouken by getting 3 perfects and 3 ultra combos with Akuma.

I got so f**ked on the fightpad. Buy.com said it was available when I preordered, and my game shipped without. I don't even plan on opening it up until I can find a fightpad for a reasonable price.

I was holding one at Gamestop and didn't get it! I'm so pissed.

I'm not having a big problem with the regular 360 controller. I use the analog stick. Sometimes my hadoukens become shoryukens. After a few days of practice I can do Ultra combos *almost* at will.

Of course, I'm putting a nice callous on my left thumb...

Secret - I think it's because I play so much of the console controllers that I'm pretty bad with Arcade sticks. 360 stick is perfect for me.

Capt_Carl played me last night. He tried to poke my Rose with the yoga man, but then I grabbed his arm with the ShamWow. Many lols.

So is the Fightpad worth it? I'm considering it. The PS3 d-pad is not as bad but sometimes I find myself struggling with supers where I feel I shouldn't be.

I also found that if you play on Very Easy and 1 round you can continue to unlock characters. I got everyone up to Akuma unlocked that way.
