I've made quite some transcriptions and arrangements, posting them on a Dream Theater forum, but since they don't seem so interested in VGM, lately, I might as well post them here. Re: Video Game Music Transcriptions Most of them are reductions, to which I don’t really have one main instrument in mind. Some are note-for-note exact transcriptions. I usually start off with that before arranging it for an instrument, making a lead sheet out of it, or a score reduction.
I’m almost done with transcribing (note for note exact) all of A Link to the Past. There are a whole lot of guitar arrangements, because I’m planning to record some and post it on YouTube. But, SOLO guitar. Re: Video Game Music Transcriptions Well, make sure you post the solo guitar videos when they get made. They'll be interesting to watch, especially if you provide the sheet music as well.
