Apparently I just wrote pornish leads. If I knew ahead of time it was going that way I would have used the wah pedal and gone ALL THE WAY.

Re: chunkstyle "solo" album YES MAYHEM
I'd love to put up a preview track, but there's not a single song on here that is really representative of the album as a whole. It's all over the place like the first one, but moreso maybe? And yet it feels like one unit.
I need to quit talking about it and just get it mixed already. Well, not now, I'm at work. I wish I was not.

Oh Bry, you're such a sweetie. It's a good thing you moved more than 3 hrs away, because it's much less convenient for me to come give you a bear hug now.

Re: chunkstyle "solo" album YES MAYHEM
OK. Tonight I am purchasing this album. I am leaving a love-note in the Note to Seller box. Then I am adding this album to my iTunes library. Then I am attaching my iPhone to my computer, and copying the album over. In its entirety. I think my iPhone can handle that much rock, but I'm not sure.
Then, I'm going to put on my sexy running shorts, a white T and my New Balance shoes, and I am going to head out the door and RUN 4 f**king MILES BECAUSE THIS ALBUM IS GOING TO PULL ME THROUGH. The furthest I have run to date is 3.4 miles, but I think Chunk's bass will be the engine that drags my broken body across the 4 mile mark.

Re: chunkstyle "solo" album YES MAYHEM
.
What's amazing, absolutely amazing is that I played Yes Mayhem during my warmup (about 5 mins) and then had it going through my first 3.5 miles. When the album was over, I realized i didn't set the playlist to loop because it started playing randomly from my library. The song that literally kicked me to the 4.0 mile mark was "The last song" by Foo Fighters. As I was walking during my cooldown, the Orchestral version of the Final Fantasy Victory Fanfare (from the Distant Worlds album) kicked in. After that I said "f**k it, it's not getting any better than this" and yanked out my earbuds to listen to the birds.
But I absolutely loved HH2, can't wait to listen to it when my heart isn't at 175 bpm.

Chunk, I want to officially say you did it again. I'm in love with this album. You guys definitely have a sound all your own, and yet really manage to cover crazy amounts of style ground. It's not too long, but it's good to know it won't be too long 'til the next Release.

Re: chunkstyle "solo" album YES MAYHEM
Much like Doombot, I had an awesome experience listening to the album while trekking the sidewalks. I took a stroll to the nearby 7 Eleven (3 miles round trip) while rocking out to the album and it began to sprinkle on me. During the more intense sections the rain picked up, and when the sound began to mellow out so did the rain. The line about weather and cigarettes (in Checkinout) coincided exactly with me walking along in the sprinkles and smoking. It made me think a whole lot about this whole move and the life changes I've been going through. Joyous experience all around, the people passing me on the sidewalk must have been wondering why I was smiling so much while in the rain.
Edit: I'm also spamming all my musically inclined friends in TN with the album link so maybe I can drum up some more sales for you guys.

Re: chunkstyle "solo" album YES MAYHEM
That's the sort of thing I like to hear.
Spam away! Tell them if they act now, they can download it for free! If they act several months from now, it'll still be free, but that makes it no less true.
