Post Dawn of the Final Year -355 Days Remain-
Happy New Year everyone! Any 2011 highlights or 2012 resolutions you'd like to share? 2011 was a pretty great year for me (my highlight is my trip to Asheville), but as always, I resolve to make 2012 a better one. I'm feeling good about this year.

Hobo's trip to Asheville was definitely a highlight. Love that kid. I'd say the biggest highlight of my year was the birth of my niece August 6, and my worst moment came a few days later when we found out she isn't well. She has a very rare disorder, and if I make any resolutions they will be to help her and my brother. I too have a good feeling about 2012. Great things are going to happen. For now, I'm hanging out with this bottle of Genesee and waiting. Cheers.

2011 was pretty good (better than 2010), mostly just long stretches of average/meh with several spikes of craziness/awesome so I call that a win. It went by faster than any year in memory for me. I also think 2012 is going to be a good one. As usual, I can't believe it's here already.

2011 was pretty awesome. I took life by the balls in some ways and have a lot of optimism for the future. My goals for 2012 are running a 5k and finishing out my fitness goals.

My resolutions are to get published at Symposium for Computer Animation, get my MS, and leave Utah. This place is so terribly not for me it actually boggles my mind. 2011 was full of excitement and learning, but it was also full of a bunch of s**t that went unmitigated by this desolate environment. When your peers are either constantly at home with their children, snorting the drugs, or playing hours of Playstation Home, it's writing on the wall.

It was cool talking to Doombot and Carl about fitness. I'm going to exercise and eat enough of everything I need to be manly.

It is surreal to talk about fitness considering it was never a priority for me before. I'm enjoying the C25k program, and am going to do the 100 pushups program as well, for dem manly pecs and shoulders.

My other goal is to publish an iOS game. For reals.
