Hopefully this will stop loads of people posting new topics like "Is there Any Tabs?" or "TABS..." as even though i have been here a very short period of time, i have already realised the massive amount of people who do this and it is annoying!!!!

chunkstyle is like a Metroid Metal strategy guide or something. I can't remember all the times he's directed us commonfolk this way and that, but I'll bet those instances number in the trillions (as in at least five or six times). Thank you, kind fellow.

Try playing the lowest note on all the guitar tabs.

Yup, Stemage is a G-tar player after all which means supersimple bass.

(That was until Dan "the Man" entered the project that is...)

There's a lot going on in Brinstar, bass-wise. Thank you though.

chunk: Well, the bass is more noticeable on Brinstar, but it isn't that advanced. Compare it for instance with the boss theme...

Norf: More or less fact. I could've missed some spots but as far as I know the bass is quite simple on every track and pretty low in the mix. But every guitarist does that, it's very common.

As a guitarist, I tend to play the bass more like a guitar.

Which means, I tend to have leads and fills on it, rather than just "holding it down".

Well, when guitarists play the bass it often 1) is played with a pick 2) is mixed very low in songs 3) either follows the rhythm or lead guitar and no improvised cool basslines which follows the chords and the drums.

You guys do know that the tab problem would be fixed if Stemage sold his tabs in books in the marketplace. He would get more money... Stemage, can you here me? :?

First: wow, nobody has posted on this in almost a year.

Second: I listened all of the MM songs to date for the first time in a long time, and I really apprectiate MM that much more now. Almost everything is flawless and beautiful. I was here since 2003 (although not on the forums) and man has this site come a long way! :metroidanim:

Third: I'm finally going to pick up guitar lessons maybe over this summer, so I might actually have use for this thread. People tell me that if you have experience with another instrument, guitar comes easy, and I've been playing piano for almost 10 years now, so it shouldn't be too bad.

Can anybody find Tabs for Green Jungle from SA2B? That song rules out and I want to try and redo it on bass. Although I haven't played anything that fast on a bass.

I think you'll probably have better luck asking elsewhere. This is about metroid metal tabs.

It's entirely possible I may have f**ked up in a most profound way.

I seem to have deleted the official tab thread in the course of deleting a bunch of spam posts.
