since the thread is stickied, I'll optimistically assume no one will consider it necromancy to post in it...

Because I have to say, bravo to Chunkstyle for the Battle of Robot Bil work in your Neverhood DoD entry. That game had some amazing music and it's great to hear someone else not only take notice, but make an excellent tribute to it.

It's all good! I'm glad this helped somebody discover something. As long as you have something nice or constructive to say I don't think anyone will bash you for 'necroposting'. Only out-of-control n00bs.
;)

Also, I'll have to update this again... sometime.

I wonder if anyone has yet to notice anything suspicious in this thread...

Oh wow, thanks!! Yes, the music for that game is so good I can hardly believe it. The more I listen to that track, the more I think I should have cut the beginning (theme), and just kept Robot Bil (hitting all the changes - I left out a whole section by mistake!).

Haha, nah...The Black Mages already did a pretty heavy version of that one!

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum, and was having a great time just looking around the boards when I came across this thread. This is great, there are some really awesome covers and remixes on here, so I thought I'd share some that I've taken a shot at.

http://www.nerdcentral.org/remixes.html

The remixes are:

- Mega Man 2 - Live at Skull Castle (Skull Castle 1 theme)
- Final Fantasy Mystic Quest - Dark Toccata (Last boss/regular boss)
- Final Fantasy 4 - La Balena (Big Whale)
- Mega Man 5 - The Law of Gravity (Gravity Man)
- Castlevania - Of Blood and Holy Water (various Castlevania themes)

I totally missed this way back.

The castlevania 3 prelude is pretty sweet.

Hi everyone, I was pouring through my remix collection today and realized that most of Braincells remixes were missing. I'm particularily interested in Lake of Fire and CutMetal, if anyone could help me locate them that'd be great.

I tried Google but didn't come up w/ much. The one link it gave me didn't even work. Also ocremix seems to have misplaced 'Cells songs too, since I can't find them on there either.

You can find some stuff by me at overclocked and dod.vgmix.com

I'm really bad at remembering the months I've entered so I guess you'll just have to listen to all the months to find mine. <3

This is my Arrangement of the "Dark World" theme, from "The Legend of Zelda - A link to the past".

As you can tell it's midi:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0x4mbY8AKyU

The biggest the difference is the Harmonies, and the structure, especially the 2nd theme where i rewrote the chord structure.

I was going for a more Modern Orcestral Feel, but those cheap midi tones sorta limit feel.

Made this 5 minutes ago with in 20 minutes the structure is poor, but it's the best recording i have gotten out of my computer ever

This is my Other "M tribute" (just the track in the E3 trailer, not really other m, but yeah), And it isn't midi like the other one.
